DADAH- ECSTASY

Sebab baru terima ceramah mengenai dada dadah, sebab tu menulis mengenai dadah ni...

ceramah tu di berikan oleh pegawai dari bahagian Mukah Sarawak....kadang2 lawak juga bunyi nya kalau dia beri ceramah @ pengetahuan tentang dadah coz' ada buat lawak sikit jadi tak la bosan sangat..siap baca surat pengakuan daripada bekas penagih yang dah bertaubat. Kalau saya cikgu, saya rasa bekas penagih tu akan gagal dalam subjek karangan kerana karangan yang dia tulis agak melucukan wlaupun bukannya betul. Tetapi saya amat memuji sikap nya kerana sanggup berhenti dari mengambil dada najis tersebut lagi.

 Yang ni saya nak terangkan sedikit mengenai salah satu dadah yang diterangkan pada ceramah tersebut...diharap dapat membantu untuk mengenali jenis2 dadah sekali gus untuk menjauhi. (sekadar tahu utk mengelakkan daripada diri terjebak sekali)

ECSTASY

Ecstasy of MDMA is 3-4methlenedioxymethamphetamine. Ecstasy is the street name for MDMA in this region, often experimented by young yuppies and discotheques goers who often see it as a fun drug often think that Ecstasy is harmless. MDMA is a psychoactive drug. Ecstasy is also known as pil khayal, pil goyang kepala, YAMA, YABA, etc. It is sold as colourless pills with symbols of lolo, Roket, playboy, butterfly, WY, wau, loveshape, apple, arrow, music key, A and motorolla. 



Effects…. 

1. Mood and muscle control affected – irrational thinking. 
2. Nausea, paranoid, anxiety, clenched teeth, dry mouth, stiff, jaws, palpitation, hot and cold flashes. 
3. Increased heart beat/body temperature/blood pressure causing the person to lose the ability to recognize his/her body signal-need to drink water to cool down and rest.
4. Ecstasy can kill the addict by damaging primary organs like brain, lungs, heart, kidney, and liver.
5. Ecstasy can cause heart failure or stroke caused by drastic increase in blood pressure.
6. Ecstasy can lead to severe dehydration, coma and failure of the primer organs causes by increased body temperature and heart stroke. 
7. Ecstasy is manufactured illegally in uncontrolled and unhygienic condition. 
8. It can contain other dangerous substances (rat poison, cement/glass) Users who share needles etc for injecting heroin are at risk of HIV AIDS and Hepatitis infection besides suffering collapsed veins. 
9. Ecstasy causes abnormal births/death foetus. 

Penalties…. 
Trafficking, import or export of more than 50gm of ecstasy.  
***DEATH***

Possession or consumption of ecstasy- 
** 5 years imprisonment or not less than 3 strokes of the rotan or both.
